Proposed new hire tfp is $67. Multiply that by 90/month and you'll get your guaranteed pay. You can count on that and anything more is gravy.

Yeah, but the gravy is practically guaranteed.

It's been pretty easy to get around 115-120 TFP on reserve.

One thing that really sets us apart from the rest of the majors, you can always pad your paycheck here. And if you pick up anything from open time, even at straight pay, provided you're over your original line value (if you're on reserve), it's paid at 2nd year rate.

Thanks in advance.

The new Yr1 rate (if this AIP passes) will be "$67.32 per TFP. This rate is $77.35 per block hour". The minimum monthly guarantee for reserves is 78 tfp but it seems nowadays it's common to fly way more than minimum. As Barco said if you pick up trips you get paid at Yr2 rate, $97.53 with the AIP. If you live in base (we have 10) you can easily pick up give away trips on your days off if you're not being used much on reserve because You're home while on reserve and not being used

Min monthly reserve credit is 78 tfp?! Where the hell does it say that? Here's the way it works:

A pilot gets 15 days off min every month while on reserve. Reserve days credit 6 tfp. In a 30 day month you're 15 on/15 off and therefore you start the month with a credit of 90. In a 31 day month you're 16 on/15 off and start with 96 tfp credit.

Reserve will pay better with the new contract if it passes.

What whack said is true. The only month you get a bump up to minimum is a 28 day February since you only have 13 days X 6. You get a bump up to 79, which is the February min. All other months you are either 90 or 96 and often more due to overlap.
