How does this TA compare with rejected TA?

I'm with you Barco. I never thought we would get a B fund without accepting PBS. The pay is not all we were asking for but after all those were arbitrary numbers anyway.
To get full retro, B fund and a decent pay raise without giving up much (section 1 is still a big deal and we need to read the fine prints) is more than I expected.

Here's something to consider: As a percentage of the stated platform the AIP works out as follows:
Pay: 97% (Final pay $280/HR vs $289/HR)
Retirement: 94% (15% B fund vs 16% B fund)
Retro: 79% $53k vs $67k (Platform stated 4/4/5.9 and we got 3/4/4)
The reality is no one gets 100% retro. Recent precident shows Fedex got 84% of full retro and UAL got 68%. My UPS friend says their TA has a $60k signing bonus for Captains paid over 6 months when his full retro far exceeds $100k.

-Limited trip ownership - if you select "own" the night before by 8pm it can't be taken by another pilot
-RCO with true pass/fly preferences.
-Codifies when the company may flip your RAP without your consent
-Upon return on last day released 7 hours after report time (if not reassigned)
-can get released from deadhead back to domicile on last day in certain circumstances.

Oh, and I'm with the guy above. Assuming that we would be able to say "platform or bust" during NMB mediated negotiations is a little naive. Unless something really egregious shows up in this thing at the roadshows in October I'm most likely a yes voter this time.

-if assigned you are assured full rigs. Trips pay just like they do for line holders

I hear ya. Still very new to this game so time will tell. I'm within a 2 hour drive of OAK and reserve is my destiny for the next several months so any improvements will be greatly appreciated!

From: DOWNGRADE COMPLETE: Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA.
I really wish they would have also gotten true trip ownership (not being responsible for your RAP for the time before your assigned report time). That would significantly improve QOL on reserve.

And would that cause an increase in hiring, and thus a decrease in line totals?
