FYI...

Logged in this morning to SWA P-Creds and there's a message that a new First Officer req# has been posted in the Careers page.

I went to the SWA Careers site and there's no listing that I can find. Just an FYI that it's probably coming...

ETA: It's there now.

It's not. The conversation was going on in two threads, so I wanted to make sure this was seen in each, i.e. didn't want anyone to miss it if they only read one thread.

Thanks for the Answers, I have a few more.
1. My mother-in-law wanted to know if she flys for free? Or if she uses buddy passes? (I know it's silly, but I have to live with her)
2. During training is class 5 or 6 days a week? Also do you only get paid on the days you are in class?
3. Do you earn per deim in training?
4. Do buddy passes expire?
5. Is the sim in the 700? Or classic?
6. When does the classic exit the fleet completely?
7. What will be the fleet total once orders are on property/ classics are retired?

That's it for this session of Tom asks... Till next time. Merry Christmas!!

1. Your mother-in-law does not fly free - only your parents.
2. Averages six days a week. If you have a type, you'll get more days off (no oral)
3. No.
4. Don't know.
5. You'll do sims in both the classic and 700.
6. Currently this fall the Classic should be gone.
7. Don't know.

Buddy passes expire a year after issue. And they are paper. And you have to wait sometimes two months to get them. Don't even get me started.

You should definitely give your mother in law lots of buddy passes. If you really want to be an evil genius send her on a buddy pass vacation to Florida during spring break.

Welcome to swa!

Wouldn't give one of our buddy passes to my worst enemy... but my sister in law? Maybe.

You can list 1 mother. So you can use your birth mom or step mom but not both. And if you have 2 moms or dads you have to pick one. This is still a Texas airline and they have no idea that that situation is possible.

I'll second this. DEN is up to 7 months wait now. YMMV, timing is everything.
DEN has shrunk on the FO side each of the last 4 months.
DAL is currently more senior, but may not be after the next vacancy award.
