Interview Prep for Coworker
Hi everyone,
My co-worker just got the invite to interview at SWA. He's early 50's, retired Air Force KC-135, T-1 and T-36 instructor and around 6,000 TT. Currently part 91 chief pilot.
I told him about these boards but I'm not sure if he'll get on. Does anyone who has been successful at the interview have some tips on what he can do to prepare? I'll refer him to some gouges online, but I've told him there are interview prep companies out there but I can't really recommend one since I've never gone through the process. I'm hoping someone one here would be willing to shed some light on how they prepared to successfully pass the interview so that I can pass it on to him.
You could say I'm motivated to help him because if he gets hired, I will move to his position as chief

I have the opportunity to become an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at an AABI approved pt 141 University flight school. It would be a bit of a hassle to do the check rides with the FAA to gain my in house examiner certification. My question is would this be of any great value on applications/resumes for the majors? This would be a side job of sorts after my pt 91 corporate job.

Cheech-Mind if ask what the time between you hitting submit on pilot credentials and the response back offering an interview date? I'm in a similar boat. Starting terminal next month...

I applied in the late April window, and received the invite the last week in June. So, about 2 months. I was literally boarding a trans-Pacific flight, so by the time I landed, the next available interview slot was 2 weeks later.
