How long does it takes for an app to go from "Received submission" to another status?

No one knows. 1 week to never.

Then if your status go to "under review" you may still never get a call. Mine went under review a couple of weeks ago after 5 years of trying, but still no call. Some people apply one time and get a call right away. Not sure I've ever heard an exact solution to the formula.

I'm having trouble finding the application on the Southwest careers site.... anyone have a direct link? I've been all over the site - or so I thought....

I'm 42 and solidly in the bottom half of my newhire class ( in both age and skill). We have several well into the 5th decade.

Question for a coworker not on the forum- Is it unheard of for someone to be hired and not have had their references called or been asked to take the drug test within the first week after the interview?

My understanding is that they will definitely call references if they want to hire someone. The drug test seems to vary a little. Some guys got the drug test invite just a few days after the interview. I got it the day before the decision board, and got the CJO call before I had actually done the test.

When can the wait lister expect if tickets become available?

I know the Doubletree is where a lot of interview candidates stay, but it is sold on the night of the 29th. Is there another hotel near SWA that gets used a lot or may have a good rate for those attending the recruiting event? Thanks for the help.
