Everyone needs to quit their *****in' about the Hilton. The location is awesome, and I'm willing to deal with some of the minor issues. Like RonnyK said, the Hyatt sucks. The only guys that love it are the cheapo slam clickers. |

I was only complaining about the actual room location. The hotel itself is good. Just put us in the tower until the construction is finished.

Sorry man...I didn't mean for it to come across as a direct attack, it was more about general venting about guys that wish we were at the Hyatt full time.

Because nobody asked, and just for fun...here are my top hotels we stay at the the worst we stay out, based on what I think about the hotel and access to things around...according to the pilot whose opinion matters most, me.:D
Best San Diego Portland (Crowne Plaza-better location than the other one) Philly long Boston long Seattle Worst Denver short Orlando short Las Vegas LA short Chicago |

The Tampa hotel is in a decent location but it's so loud, there's always something loud going on. In Atlantic City, I like the location, but there's always some pre-teen cheerleading, dance or pep squad convention going on, it's always loud there as well. |

Yeah.....I'm just not getting it. Its a wonder pilots are dubbed as a bunch of babies. Some just seem to have the need to complain about something. For the most part, I think we stay at some pretty kick-ass hotels. Maybe I'm just to easy to please. The Hilton is awesome! Like mentioned: close to beach, nice pool area, can stalk Mr. Spielberg on his yacht, great location.

Which does you little to no good when you arrive at 0800, have a van at 1700, have house keeping slamming doors and yelling at each other from three doors down, the drapes won't block the outside light, the a/c won't cool the room, and 500 drunk outbound cruise passengers are heading out the door. There couldn't be a worse redeye day sleep hotel.
As far as the room being hot...watch the video and you'll go far in life https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9zV4kO_Vtg It will disable the motion detector on the AC and allow you to drop the cool down to 60 degrees |
