I think the union should hire a PR firm like allegiant did to get ahead of this summers inevitable management created mess.

I think the union should not show up to the next negotiation meeting.

It doesn't surprise me. About 6 months ago, someone from CS sent an email to every employee stating "We need help covering this flight, because the pilots refused to extend their duty time"

FYI the NC met as scheduled with the company this week. Bendos absence on Monday and Tuesday morning was known ahead of time. He should be there everyday as the decision maker. However, it's not as if he didn't show up. It was preplanned and "someone" was there.

Sounds like its ok to not show up to work and send in your place someone who can't actually do the job. Hmmm, possibilities there. How much advance notice is required to utilize this company policy?

I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying they knew ahead of time he wasn't coming. He didn't no show. It's another way to waste our time. He has done this before. He was only hired for our negotiations. I guarantee he moves on when we ratify. His specialty is wearing down labor and union busting. That is why he was hired.
