I flew 904 around couple weeks ago and noticed a really bad harmonic vibration at around 79% N1. In Cruise, above 84% N1, they were smooth, but when Power was reduced for a descent or a slower airspeed to the 79% range there was a really bad vibration.

I can't believe Pratt and Whitney has manufactured such a POS. I'm sure the original engineers that created the R2800 are rolling around in their graves right now. Really sad. They need to fix these engines,... Their good name is at stake. I'm really glad I'm not flying these engines overwater.

If you thing flying to Mo Bay is "overwater" we truly are very different animals with different backgrounds,.. My definition of "overwater" is when you look out the window you don't see land for 8 or 9 hours. I suspect you're idea of overwater is flying across Lake Michigan in an RJ.
