NEOs are Junk

So the Neos...

1) First the engine was cannibalizing itself, chip detect, requiring engine changes on almost every NEO engine.

2) Then it was the "Air Sys Fault" which had the vague "Thrust lever to idle" ECAM, until the union helped (forced) the company to adapt the "land at the nearest suitable airport," which is now the "keep flying" read file.

3) Now its the "We are going to fly these at FL300 or below" because of a seal issue that we think is why we had the issue with (see number 1 above)

Fine, ill fly that thing at FL290 all day long, at 270 kias...lets overblock and make money...fine by me.

Scheduled to get 50 more of these POS...cant wait.

Cool thread.

Haha. Well we have two threads on parking lots so why not one on the junk NEO airplane we are flying these days.

Mainly just wanted to say they are junk, that's all.

I agree there are some serious teething issues. I hope Airbus is compensating us for the down time.

Wrong engines. Frontiers are doing fine.

It's all ball bearings nowadays.

You hope airbus is compensating "us"? lol, who cares. As long as it doesn't kill me I don't care. Show me the money!!! That is all I care about anymore.

What are you complaining about? Now you can put "Experimental Test Pilot" on your resume. Also, "Chemical Warfare Developmental Engineer, Toxic Respiratory Inhalation Specialty."

One of the maintenance guys told us that P&W is redesigning the engine and that only one of them is available in North America.

And now one if DFW is hanging out with only one engine?
