I am an FO that WAS on the SA list. I am a first year pilot here and up until the blast of MEC emails last week regarding Reserve and the SA list, I had NO IDEA it was a contract violation. The SA list has been available on my FLICA from day 1 here, so I used what resources I had. When the fact that being on reserve and on the standing available list was a violation of our contract, I removed my name from the SA list immediately and had no plans of reinstating it while on RSV. I corrected my mistake and took myself off the list last week without the help of your little forum message, but thanks for calling me out and making me look like a scab. Class act.

Mod Note:

It is a violation of APC's Terms of Use to post personal identifiers, which includes but is not limited to full names, initials, base, etc.

I'm sure y'all are very upset by those who, in your analysis, violate the contract, but posting their names here is not the proper way to address the issue. APC will never allow it.

No one called you a scab. You ever stop to think that because it was available on FLICA, it benefits the company? They don't care it violates the contract, it benefits them since you are willing to sell yourself for $38 hr.
Maybe instead of perusing these forums, you might want to brush up on your understanding of our current CBA.
Remember, you are on probation after all.

READ THE CONTRACT!!!!!!

how can we make educated votes if we don't know what's in the current contract?

I wasn't even a member of this forum before today when someone told me my information was being broadcast for the world to read. I assume you can quote and remember all 200+ pages of our current CBA, and provide me with a list of all reserves who were on the SA list 3 years ago ... oh wait we weren't in contract negotiations then so it didn't matter then.

I did what I had to do for me and my family, and I don't have to justify anything for selling myself at $38.50...I took a pay CUT to come here from the regionals, where my guarantee was more than 72 hours.

And don't think I'm not a team player. I wear that green lanyard, took my name off the SA list when I knew it was a violation, and since the company's blatant disregard for our efforts, I am ****ed enough to not help Bendo out anymore. I'll find a way to make 38.50 work, I just don't appreciate being called out on a list that A- I wasn't even on anymore when this thread was posted and B- didn't realize was a contract violation because up until last week, nobody has said anything, neither in the flight deck nor MEC blasts.

There's a right and a wrong way to handle things like this. Some people would rather shoot first and ask questions later I guess.

You're a weird guy. You agree with everything I say but you say contradicting things. Funny guy.

Anyway, it looks like the word is out, which is the intention. It would be great if the leadership did something less severe so these draconian tactics weren't necessary. If they had made information calls telling everyone the current position and needs these mistakes could be avoided. No one would have to resort on their own to do what the union should have been doing all along, in a nice legal and easy to understand format.
I'm still waiting on the response from the latest slap in our face. Won't hold my breath tho.

Nothing shows unity quite like airing your fellow pilots out to dry on a public forum. Everyone is upset and rightfully so...but guys, come on, show a little restraint on here.

Friendly advice: this excuse is an absolute trigger for many here. I'd rethink using that one next time. I'm not sure I agree with publishing the list with names, but things need to change quickly. Now let's redirect some of this outrage towards the company and their lack of respect for this pilot group.

I couldn't agree more
