I assume you can quote and remember all 200+ pages of our current CBA, and provide me with a list of all reserves who were on the SA list 3 years ago ... oh wait we weren't in contract negotiations then so it didn't matter then.

I did what I had to do for me and my family, and I don't have to justify anything for selling myself at $38.50...I took a pay CUT to come here from the regionals, where my guarantee was more than 72 hours.

And don't think I'm not a team player. I wear that green lanyard, took my name off the SA list when I knew it was a violation, and since the company's blatant disregard for our efforts, I am ****ed enough to not help Bendo out anymore. I'll find a way to make 38.50 work, I just don't appreciate being called out on a list that A- I wasn't even on anymore when this thread was posted and B- didn't realize was a contract violation because up until last week, nobody has said anything, neither in the flight deck nor MEC blasts.

There's a right and a wrong way to handle things like this. Some people would rather shoot first and ask questions later I guess.

Well it took this to get you off so I guess it worked. You also knew that SA list was frowned on and you covered trips and bailed out the company when they called. I don't have a lot of compassion right now for guys with excuses. I have been doing "whatever it takes" from day one. I am telling you this to get a pat on the back, I am telling you this because you knew when I did when negotiations started but you made the choice to continue to bail out the company when called. BTW, we all took pay cuts to come here. That's no secret!!

Some guys just don't get it. Anyway, I agree we all need to stick together but we also all must be held accountable.

Take the 3 and choke him with them.

On a positive note, NK 817 on 4/18 left DFW 17 hours and 41 minutes late after the FO timed out and no DFW guys would accept the trip. They called me 3 times with each VM becoming more and more desperate. I just kept adding a little more 7 to the 7 and raised my low tier salute. FUPM.

Cheers DFW.

This thread is an embarrassment to the entire Spirit pilot group. If we're all committed to doing "whatever it takes" how about we quit attacking eachother and remember why we're at this point in the first place.

Not sure I agree with this method of calling out individuals. Guys I'd say only 15-20% of our pilots even get on here. The best way to approach the guys that are constantly picking up and "whoring" themselves out is to talk to them face to face. Before last weeks negotiations things were moving, slow yes, but still moving forward. The company has slapped us in the face with a proposal that seems well below what we were expecting. It's time to buckle down and do your job. Fly your line, enjoy your days off. If you know someone who likes to work have a civil conversation with that individual. Explain how it is ultimately postponing a worthwhile cba. And for god sakes wear the damn lanyard.

I agree 100%.

At this point most of the pilots answering calls and picking up open time are either brand new and trying to fly closer to home or are fully aware they are operating contrary to the majority of the pilot group. Calling them out on a public forum is unprofessional and will do nothing to move our contract negotiations forward. Just because a pilot removes himself or herself from the SA list does not mean they are going to stop answering the calls from scheduling.

The few I know that regularly answer the phone do so for their own reasons, they understand they are not seen in a positive light by the rest of the pilot group but they don't really care. It is what it is, they are operating per the CBA (other than one being on the list of SA while on reserve, that should be stopped in FLICA immediately).

The folks that you're describing will also be willfully violating the Contract when they knowingly exceed the JRM limitation. Really, it's just part of their character and makes it very difficult to have a unified effort.

This hero killed it for Team Bendo. Mr. DTW reserve guy pulling down 218+. One guy doing the work of 3. Here's to you Mr. DTW reserve guy...you make more go happen. I've got 4 short of a high five for you too.

Is this what we are reduced to? Dumpster diving through V-files?

I like how it was "carefully" redacted to give the appearance of being redacted while leaving just enough info to figure out who it is.
