Hence why when anyone asked about what kind of leverage we had to get the company back to the negotiation table during the call today Stuart would just say “well, what do you think”? Aka he has no clue. We can do phone polls of what we want but what is going to make the company accept anything we come up with? Mediation is over and we won’t get released to go on strike so I just don’t see how we have any leverage at all. I mean it’s simple math. There is no incentive for the company to get back to the negotiation table, not when they are getting their pilots at a 50% discount.
The company proposed contract is CONCESSIONARY. Do not be fooled by higher hourly rates. Efficiencies gain by pbs and work rule give backs negate any gains in pay rates.

Industry pressure will force them back to the table. Your patience will be rewarded.

P.S. I will not reply.

Peace out.

G4 (not "NV") also get 10 FTDs in addition to the "extra sim". Do you guys get that?

Yeah but at G4, you get to practice V1 cuts & engine failures IRL...

Exactly, we had 4 guys resign the begining of this week and one recent class had 15 remedials......

This isn't sustainable

Do you mean 15 type ride fails followed by remedial training, or simply additional training prior to the type?

I'm really not trying to start anything. Just discussing programs.

(Been here a long time, never had an engine failure)

If you really need an answer to that question, why don't you call your rep.? I'm not a smart guy but can come up with many forms of leverage we have. But this is the wrong place to ask these questions. We're playing poker with the company and you basically just told them you don't have jack (so YOU think anyway)! While reading your posts I have visions of Bendo and urinal giving each other hi-fives with a small victory (one of the bricks in the wall starting to crumble)! Personally I'm going to chillax and enjoy my family and time off. I'm ready to wait as long as it takes......believe me ......they need a deal just as much as we do. Like one of the previous posters stated, Patience will be rewarded!
