Anyways I give up with that argument. I actually did hear that but I don't believe it either. I have also heard (albeit second hand) that a recruiter told a candidate "If you want to go to Delta, then go to JetBlue". Why not pass it along for potential new hires to hear. Any time someone says spirit sucks there are too many people coming to defend it: like "nuh uhhhh, spirit looks great on a resume" Are you guys company recruiters of something?

You can't possibly be stupid enough to think that B6 bus time is more valuable than NK bus time? Dude we've seen the numbers people are leaving by the dozens for FedEx UAL delta you name it. Are we tainted bc our our awful relationship with management?? Mark my words the JetBlue group is gonna have a long fight in front of them too.

It almost seems (along with the backing away from the AIP on scope) that they know their days running this place are numbered.

The difference is Jetblue and Southwest actually have a brand and reputation to protect while Spirit does not. They seem to revel in running a cheap and poorly run operation which seems to be leading management on a scorched earth policy.

Exactly. They don't understand that airlines don't run on high fives.

of course that is laughable (improve brand/customer service), and even more of a failure. Forbes had us dead last 2016 and we moved one spot up, only to have Frontier beneath us. Therefore it begs the question: Is he worth the money being spent on him. I would say no, and that most competent CEO's (even without prior airline experience) could turn out better metrics. I would certainly like to hear what he thinks is his top 5 accomplishments are since taking the helm.
