Well I’ll say this, IF they care about getting guys in CASS now, that’s a change of the past. Back in the day, none of us were processed into CASS until training was done. This wasn’t an ex employer background delay, it was a Spirit delay.

Ever try emailing pass travel or HR? Or other departments? Good luck on a timely reply; so that’s why I’m shocked that one department is concern with expedited anything down at the office

I got mine in week one over a year ago. Other people in my class got their cass near the end of training. There are a few airlines and other commercial operators that are notorious for being slow to respond when their employees quit. Many dont respond at all, and in that case there is a timeline that will have to be expired before they can proceed. Something like 90+ days.
This. Miramar isn’t out to get you. It’s all based on getting the responses back from your prior employers.

Still many failures?

Are there any former military Pilots that have gone through recently that can compare/ contrast?

Thanks,

If you’re former military, depending on how long ago you went through a training course, you’ll find Spirit’s training easy.

That’s what I was thinking. In 20 years, I flew 4 different MWSs and too many Mil flying courses to count.

I’m thinking if you do your job and figure out what you need to know, Spirit gives you the time and materials to succeed.

Maybe those who failed prove there is a standard? Not every pilot is airline pilot material.........

Either way, good luck to all, keep your nose in the books (iPads?).....but wipe it clean every once in awhile.

Exactly! The other thing is, don't worry about it being civilian training vs military training, you'll adapt quite quickly. Learning the material is the same regardless if you're mil or civ.

I feel for those who don't get CASS/KCM quickly especially during holidays. I have mine 4 days into indoc. Don't know who's to blame or thank.
