Because if they want me to start class earlier then June I’d have to turn them down.

3-4 weeks after your interview until you start class...many times they will call you and ask if you’d like an earlier class.

Thanks for the answer.

What does the training footprint look like: Class starts with indoc and ground school?

How many weeks of that until you start SIMs. Are sims started the day after ground school ends?

Does everything take place in FLL?

2 weeks of ground, in that 2 weeks it's CBT. The oral is after about 2 weeks after you start. There is no formal systems class. You learned about systems on your own and doing the briefing before the CSI/FTD. FTD and Sim can be in FLL, DFW or LAS. It took me 2 months exactly from day 1 to being released to the line.

Roughly how long to hold DFW? I would guess it's on the more senior side of things.

3-4 months, but you will be reserving it

This not totally true, you take your Oral right before you start FTDs. So about 4 weeks after you start class.

It's been about 3 years since I was in initial, I figured I was probably off. I remember for sure that I finished OE 2 months after I started.

7-8 weeks is about right. Plan on completing in FLL unless there is a sim availability problem
