Keep in mind that certain other LCCs have suddenly gotten very picky in the application process after a new contract...

Not true; we have 1 or 2 pairs out of each class going to DFW for FTDs and SIMs.

Thats the reason I said depending on sim availability

Dang that's pretty cool you can turn down jobs for reasons like that. Best of luck to you and your future of give me what I want or I walk attitude. Did your get the offer yet ? Worry about that first

It’s a buyer’s market.

Well when I currently have a fantastic job I can be pretty picky. So yeah it is pretty cool...

I thought it was a legit question. Some people have obligations, contracts, military terms, etc and don't want to apply for the next career move too early.

Fact is we’re having a child in March. So no way I’m swotching jobs before this summer. Thus I don’t want to be lucky enough to get a job offer but have to turn it down due to timing. Also as I said I’m not in a huge rush since I’m in a pretty great place right now, just want to eventually get back to 121 flying.

Why not just tell that to the interviewers? They’re extremely understanding and I’m sure would be happy to work with you on a start date.
