I’d be more concerned about the risk than the focus. I just flew a jumpseater on a lax-fll red eye. His earlier flight canceled and when we landed he had just enough time to make it to the hotel to catch the bus to the training center.

I assume that everyone at this point knows what they need and dont need for their training. If people want to go home, and they can, who cares?

Im not telling someone what they need to do for their training. Its their training and their career.

The original question was "do we get sent home for the holidays," not "Do you guys think I should go home to see family"

Do people use COBRA for insurance during the first 90 days? I’m not concerned about me, but my children need insurance.

You forgot the brief stint he had in DFW teaching sim at AFG. The look on my face when I saw him there was priceless!:D

My wife and I purchased a temporary insurance plan through United for the 90 days. Ended up costing about $300 a month vs $1050 a month for us on cobra.

My wife and I used a Health Share type of plan.

Thanks. I’ve got a kid that will be fresh out of the NICU so I hope he will qualify for temporary insurance.
