They will say no, but I have an interesting anecdote. We voted on concessions at XJT 2007ish. It was a straight 3% drop. The vote started and halfway though they came to us and changed the terms and roll out of the deal. It would now phase in over 12 months. I always assumed they could see the original measure was getting killed in the vote. I have no proof though.

The votes are recorded, but not counted until the end of the voting period. It is in the disclaimer on the voting website. A 3rd party company that does the vote stuff for alpa...

It was actually 2008, and no they didn’t change the terms durning the vote, they changed them before the vote started. What did happened was when the vote closed on XY day they said that somehow the votes did not register, so they did a re-vote over a two week period. The turnout was low, and that is where the conspiracy theories came is saying that it probably had failed, and ALPA wanted it to pass so they through out the votes knowing the turnout would be lower with a re-vote. I did not buy into the conspiracy theory.

I remember a few of those guys landing on their feet and going over to compass. A few are DAL CAs now. Funny how some things work out

Yep. Those that took the preferential (sure thing) compass interview made out well. Hind sight is 20/20. Wasn’t it offered to everyone not just furloughs? One of my major and few regrets in this career.
