They aren't that old. They just need new paint and new interiors. Next time you have a United Airbus driver on the JS ask him/her if they think it's old compared to their 320's.

If we're going to keep them they need to sent though a refurb program at the very least. It's an extra 20 minutes checking all the MEL/CDL/NEF items.

I'd recommend you read it once again. I mean, it's pretty clear but I've been wrong before.

Yep, I misread it. It does say 2 Neo’s and 4 more CEOs Q4. My bad.

It's alright, I'm left handed too . But add 2 NEO's 4Q18 + 5 NEO's 1Q19. So, 7 additional NEO's (+9 A319's not being returned anymore) to the "old" fleet plan. That's how I read it.

Keeping the A319's is good news. They can be put into the smaller markets.

FYI - the CS300 CASM is apparently 25% lower than the A319 CASM. That was a primary motivator for Delta to order the CSeries vs more A319/20s.

You sure are selling the C series hard today lol. The primary motivator for Delta was that they got them for more than half off sticker price lolz.

True - but that was expected as a launch customer. The operating economics were too compelling to ignore - and with fuel prices rising again we’ll see if others notice.
