Even my buddy at DAL that does the hiring says they've moved to hiring the RJ guys. Why? The guard guys drop the card for the first year to skip the pay and reserve. Sandi busted him and he's out! Move on!! Go to UAL they thinks cool!

Can Sandi ask a female if they are on Planning on getting pregnant and taking maternity leave and not hire her because of that? No because it is discrimination.

Can Sandi criticize someone for being on Mil leave and not hire them because they are on mil leave or think that they may drop Mil leave? No because it is discrimination and against the law. USERRA Law protects from discrimination during initial hiring for Military status.

Doesn’t matter if you don’t like people using a “guard card.” It is illegal to not hiring them because you are afraid they will use the “guard card.”

Now can you prove the discrimination? Probably not.

God just stop your crying already. You can make up bs about why your friend didn't get hired all day but it doesn't make it true. I bet everyone who meets you is lining up to hire you with your seemingly cry baby attitude.

If you think the story is BS that is fine. I don’t know if it is true or not, but if you condone not hiring Military because you think they might take mil leave like Super EZ’s post than you are illegally discriminating per the USERRA Law.

FFS. 6 pages now. You still don't shut up and listen.
1. You have no honest idea why (your friend) didn't get hired and neither does (your friend.)
2. You can't prove discrimination, without a smoking gun. I can guarantee they have enough military personnel flying the line that you look stupid.
3. It's their company and they can hire whomever they want, or not.
4. That includes not hiring people they believe will be unreliable (for any reason), whiners, and shoulder chips.
5. If you or any mil think it's ok to use the guard card to get out of reserve then **** you and the horse you rode in on.
6. People like that premeditatively waste the companies money and time and that makes them egotistical pricks, which nobody wants in the flight deck.
7. People like that belong at Delta.

This is also true if he doesn't chew Big Red.

We think the story is BS because the numbers of MIL hired prove the BS.
If Super EZ thinks no guard guys should get hired that’s not illegal because he doesn’t hire people and opinions are allowed.
If I were “your friend” I would be a bit embarrassed about this by now.

Your buddy at DAL is incorrect. We still hire a very high percentage of military. That percentage has been steady for the last 5 years. Delta posts the backgrounds of who they hire a couple times a year.
