Commuting east from LAS, 3years, normally get on the first, sometimes second option.

Several people I've flown with commute to PHX, most say it's okay.

Agreed. PHX is cake unless you finish a trip on Saturday night because the last flight is usually around 7:30-8pm.

DFW was pretty easy when I was doing it. Almost bid back there just to have a line. Normally late starts (day-of commute) and late finishes (in time to catch red-eye back home). Own metal or AA. This is all based on being a lineholder. I’m guessing commuting to reserve sucks anywhere.

Hi guys ( and gals ) how about the DTW base? Just curious if it would take a while to hold that base if a new hire wanted it. Any input would be appreciated! :)

DTW is pretty easy to get. I’d say you can get it right away if your lucky to maybe a month or two after IOE worst case scenario. Hard to say exactly it fluctuates sometimes.
