Yes, as soon as the trip goes into the 200% thing, they will call Xlist first, Y list later, JRM last, and provided you can do the trip with no 117/CBA conflict you should get the call in seniority order (since XY credit reset yesterday). But there is no way of knowing when trips go into the XYJ list other than looking at the often delayed snapshot.

To expand on the other answer, we usually have monthly vacancy bids (unless hiring stops, which is unlikely now but happened during covid). With the duration of initial training, and depending on the time of the month you start, you will have at least 2-3 bids before you become a line pilot. With attrition, upgrades, base growth, and people switching around, even if you don’t get FLL the first bid, it’s very likely you will have it before you finish OE.

Yes, and they should if you’ve placed yourself on the list.

Never got a call about my delay/cancelled flight until 3 hours after my rescheduled deadhead landed.

Hey good morning _⁠ this is and I'm just calling because I noticed I don't see any comments that you got notified of the changes on you schedules I was trying to see if you really cats notified her out and you were able to make _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ had him so please call us back so we can go ahead and charge _⁠_ notified of it _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ can also show you released as well and thank you


Transcription isn’t great. But this was three hours after the deadhead landed. Calling me to notify me about it 🤦‍♂️. The DH also arrived 4 hours after my RAP ended on the last day and ended up going into my day off. Fails all around. In addition I took an alternate DH back to base, I called scheduling to inform them of this but after being on hold forever I gave up and sent them an email. Upon landing I had an email telling me I need to call in on a recorded line to request my alternate deadhead.

Can someone share the the most junior FO hire date for ORD, please? I know it's shrinking and 90% of people usually get what they want after a couple of systems bids, but I just wonder if ORD people is one of those 10%...
