Thanks guys. What is the percentage of 1,2,3, and 4 day trips? Is DTW junior, I could commute to there as well. What is the training footprint?

DTW used to be junior. With the reduction it’s the most senior FO base.

Fairly strong mix of 1-3 day with some 4 days. Highly base dependent. Probably not the best schedules for commutability.

Early first day pairing starts, and late releases? Can you bid for red eyes across the board? What is the most jr FO base outside of LAS.

LAS by far. After that, probably FLL, MCO, and IAH.

You can bid whatever you want, you’ll get what your seniority can hold. With enough seniority, there are commutable trips out there, but I’m not there yet. Lots of early starts and/or late finishes, and lots of trips with red eyes in the middle of pairings. If you’re a commuter, you’ll be spending some money on hotels or crash pads. I personally don’t mind, but legacy trips will generally be more commutable just because of the route network/structure.

Thank you, do you know the time to hold a line as a FO in IAH, jr line holder days off?

How long until I can hold MCO out of training? And also hold a line at MCO? Lastly, with this merger, MCO is very important with regards to family and friends so what are the chances I get displaced to the north JFK/LGA/BOS? Is there a chance that I could be downgraded/displaced to fly the 190/220 post-merger? I know yall don't have the answer to everything I am just wondering what can I expect going forward to the best crystal ball. Thanks and much appreciated!

there is typically no “bump flush” for a certain time period. There won’t be a mother of all rebids but eventually several years down the road everyone would be subject to typical displacements if the base shrunk or closed.

And the JB buyout may change everything since we don’t really know the base preferences of the larger JB pilot group many of which will be senior to our junior NK people.
