Who knows? I wish we had a better answer but the company/union have been radio silent on when a possible displacement happens. Either way though, ATL seems to be trending fairly senior.

last what if before they cancelled the reductions saw very few involuntary displacements from Dfw fo. Due mainly to natural monthly attrition

Opening September 1 with 50-60 pilots. They plan to add another 50 in October and repeat in a similar fashion until ultimately staffed.

MCO Current Seniority

What is the current seniority at MCO and FLL?
Can an FO hold in training?
What is the current upgrade time?

What's the likelihood ATL changes the above and to what extent?
I realize no one has a crystal ball, just best info.....thx

Junior, yes, 4 years if you are willing to commute to reserve.
As far as the future, it can not be answered until after one of the mergers becomes official, we have a JCBA, and see the first vacancy bid.

Can the merger/purchase force pilots out of their current base when the JCBA happens?

The JCBA wouldn’t trigger it, a seniority list integration and subsequent future unknown bid would. Too many unknowns to speculate. If there are certain bases that you want to live in, and legacies have hubs there, I’d suggest applying there. If you’re near FLL, could you do MIA?? Apply to AA.

How long would it take to hold a line out of ACY? Easy to get reserve there out of training? TIA

GWY320 07-02-2022 09:44 AM

Junior line holder in ACY for July is a Feb 2020 hire.

Yes, ACY is obtainable after training. Slow movement in the base.
