Agree! Don’t care for the “A” 220

Why not? I keep hearing it’s a pretty amazing bird and it would pay the same as the 320 in our CBA

I don’t want to dilute our flying with a second type. Our seniority list will grow but the number bidding below you on your type will not grow at the same pace.

Valid. Same would happen with the 330 though

A 330 would at least bring a higher paying aircraft on property, an option to step up and make more money; so you would likely see more people making the move to the aircraft for the raise. Longer range on the 330 means more likely schedules that mirror legacy heavy schedules where a pilot will fly fewer times a month, more off time.

A 220 would not bring a pay raise. Shorter stage lengths, smaller communities most likely.

So I don’t care how nice a plane it is, an order of 200 is not helping us like an order of 200 A320s would or 200 A330s would

Did I miss a rumor? Is there actually grumblings of 330s coming on?

Yup, that’s the end goal for the MCO base. 330s to South America and eventually Europe. I heard it from a rampers cousin.
