[QUOTE=thor55;2691312]Can someone help with how the amount of the final payment determined and on which of the many Spirit portals can I find the pay stub/breakdown?
Thanks
Not sure if this is your first airline but you should be checking your pay stubs every two weeks. They will make mistakes and only seem to catch the ones where they over pay you.

^^^^This. Always check your pay. Last month they didn't bother to pay me for my online training and it took a week of emailing and calling people to get paid.

Thank you so much for that nugget of wisdom. Maybe if you were still MEC chair things would be different. Yeah, right.

Sorry man but this isn’t MN. He posted here years ago under a different name. Hard to believe he would keep 2 logins for over 13 years, specifically one with his first name in it. Sorry to burst your trigger-happy bubble but there is probably more than 1 Matt(hew) that is unhappy with the outcome. That being said I’m not certain MN was against it.

How was your “ratification bonus” divided up? Was it weighted by each pilots number of bid periods in each seat since the amendable date, and additionally weighted by seniority up to Year 12?
If so does anyone have the formula used? I’m curious to see if our guys use the same method.

They calculated the difference between what all of us would have made, had the new pay rates been been implemented at the “expiration” date of the last contract, and what we actually got paid.
This was converted into a ratio for everyone, and multiplied by the $75million bonus. For me, 5 years, 2 1/2 years as a captain the payout was about 30% of the difference.
