Possible Plane Order

This ridiculous notion that the Max is going to be on sale because of recent events is unfounded. As of last month, Boeing has a backlog of 5900 aircraft, which relates to
7.3 years of orders. Want to take a guess what airframe makes up 80% of those 5900 planes, the 737 NG/Max makes up the 80%. They are not in any need to give this plane away and the public has pretty much moved on to trade wars, 2020 election, and the new season of Below Deck on Bravo. You’re correct that there won’t be any huge fire sale because of the 737 issues. The only reason Spirit may get a deal on 737’s is that Boeing wants a slice of the US ulcc market. Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant are all Airbus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Pist..... It's AIRBUS! It's like telling a girl you want to break up and she freaks out unexpectedly. Hummm... It makes you consider what you can get away with?? Spirit tried the "fake break up" to get the best deal. We're getting more Airbuses! Or the break up is for real! LOL :D

Who wants to take bets on an aircraft order in Paris?
|
I'll take underwhelmed for 1000 Alex.
An order would be great but I'm not counting on it since they usually blow their timelines, this one was anticipated last year. Wifi was to be easily installed fleet wide by this summer too. Aircraft livery completed a long time ago, etc. I'll be wearing my black and yellow next week though for that big announcement. I hope it happens and I hope it's Airbus with a 3 at the front. |
I'll put my bet on 102 A3xx's.
I base this guess on absolutely nothing and I pulled it straight out of my rear end. |
125 aircraft bus order including A330 options.😁
|
50 A220’s
50 A320’s with options of 321’s |
3 airplanes from a Spanish carrier, 2 old returned leases from an Italian carrier and 5 more from the Chinese.
All deals made with reps from other carriers they had dinner with at the Paris airshow. |
