I just don’t get why someone would be hoping all these people’s plans get screwed up. I know it’s out of their control just shows what kind of person you are to be excited about something like that.

There is a fairly recent undisclosed order for 15 A321 NEOs though. Also wonder if a stock buyback could cause a freeze on employee stock purchases. Seems like pretty good timing to do so at the current price.

I’ve loaded up big time. In fact many investors are. The fair market value of SAVE is over 50 clams according to Morningstar.com, a service that has gained me a wealth of economic decision-making knowledge.

I agree with you. Rest assured you’re not the only person that cares.
Jeez what are we even talking about? |

I’m in probably too high and have been trying to lower my cost basis a little during the fall but at some point I have to say that’s enough money to throw at it.

Is it feasible that Spirit could ever become an "employee-owned" publicly traded company? |

Just out of curiosity (and enough laziness to not do my own research) what would a controlling interest in Spirit cost right now?
Is it feasible that Spirit could ever become an "employee-owned" publicly traded company? 68,440,000 shares / 2 = 34,220,000 34,220,000 is worth 1.32B Show 7700 employees So $172,000 per employee. Remind the FA the next time she doesn’t pay for her coffee that she will need $172k for her share to buy in to Spirit. Or the CA who won’t break a buck off for the van driver. |

Stupid I know. The good money on the sector was with delta.
DAL and LUV are probably better picks in this sector though. I previously owned DAL, bought during the Ebola scare low, sold at $55.xx over a year ago. It’s been bouncing around in the mid 50’s to low 60’s, so I’m content with that trade. Better places to make money now than the airline industry, imho. |
Would anyone here, FOs in particular, leave here for Jetblue? Why or why not?
