Default Upcoming interview

Hey guys I’ve got an upcoming interview At first I was lukewarm about it but its been a rough couple months on home life (divorce) and im ready to step into the bus now ive told everyone a bit about my background before so I wont again

I do have a few question regarding my app: first I have a couple busted check rides and a couple speeding tickets all of which happened well over two years ago so im not worried but how should I get around telling the board i dont have any

Also I was flying part 91 on the side while at silver to supplement income which ultimately led to me not being home much which ultimately lead to me getting divorced which ultimately is why I’m just getting back in my feet but to my point I was flying 91 and we crossed an active in lakeland the other day and now ive got a pending letter. nothing should come of it but theres no way a chief doing an interview would know this right? Unless he is buds with that rat bastard in the klal tower

I’m looking forward to joining spirit it hasn’t always been my goal but it is now and I am very grateful to be headed to training in fll in a few months any idea what base is easiest to commute out of gnv?

Drive to MCO easiest option by far. Tell them everything in interview, including the LAL thing. They find out after the fact you could get the boot half way through training for being less than fully honest

Thats good advice I should just be honest I am just worried i won’t get the job because of it

as far as the commute goes I dont have a car right now ive got to uber to gnv because my ex took the car in the divorce so I would love to eventually get to mco base but thats too expensive right now and I can’t move just yet because im locked on a leese for 10 more months now. Once I get into second year pay at spirit most of these problems go away I’ll pick up a ride. So for now I’ve got Miami Atlanta and clt as options I’m thinking Miami won’t help get my to fll because theres no high speed rail yet but if I get to atlanta I’ve got options. I am going to use my story of not having a car turned into a positive because it shows grit and determination that’s my grit story and I think the board will eat it up

I don’t say too much on here but I’m sorry, I have to respond to this. Multiple check ride failures and speeding tickets that you don’t want to admit too in an interview and a pending violation you received while at the minimum breaking a company policy and probably breaking other FAR’s involving rest and duty, I hope you never set foot in a Spirit cockpit.

Well ive already stepped foot in one haha the problem is I was a jump seat rider and not a co pilot but seriously I came here seeking advice not to get brutally attacked and questioned. I wasn’t going to not admit my tickets I just wasn’t going to volunteer if they didn’t ask you catch my tailwind? Anyways I’m sure most would agree with the first poster that honesty is best so that’s what I will do

Hey, we all deserve second chances. Life happens.

I was involved in hiring at a previous airline. I would think Spirit has the same philosophy. Hiding something = automatic no. Being honest about everything and explaining how you learned from it is a good thing.

Am also being considered by Frontier now with their big contract. I have a hot pan on the Moxy table too but that’s a while away but man I really missed the boat not getting on with spirit back in the day. How senior would I be if I was hired in spring of 2016? Like 40% captain in FLL? Anyways just looking for some tips on what I could do I’ve gotta get out of silver and it seems without a degree the legacies won’t touch me. I’m working on one with Everglades it’s taking time but I’ll have it soon then I will take calls from legacy but for now I need to get somewhere. I was talking w some frontier guys on there board and they told me the bus would be an easy plane to fly even though I was worried it seems they calmed me down and I could learn it. I interveiwed with that Chief pilot in FLL that blinked a lot probably a nervous twitch

Brutally attacked?? I’ll make sure I give a warning next time before I tell you the truth. You know, truth, that thing you are trying to avoid
