90 days from date of employment is my understanding. You’re eligible to participate in the 401k after 60 days if memory serves.

Based on your theory, we should be getting progressively better qualified pilots . Poor to average pilots when you were hired at what, $30/hr? So today at 56/hr the pilots are 92% better than in the past. I think I’m starting to understand . Thanks for the insight

Take a good look at this page and decide if it's worth rolling the dice. With the month of coverage from your previous employer and the 60 Days you have to opt into COBRA you might be able to safely bridge that 90 Day gap. *Results may vary*

"If you are entitled to elect COBRA coverage, you must be given an election period of at least 60 days (starting on the later of the date you are furnished the election notice or the date you would lose coverage) to choose whether or not to elect continuation coverage.
Each of the qualified beneficiaries for a qualifying event may independently elect COBRA coverage. This means that if both you and your spouse are entitled to elect continuation coverage, you each may decide separately whether to do so. The covered employee or spouse must be allowed to elect on behalf of any dependent children or on behalf of all of the qualified beneficiaries. A parent or legal guardian may elect on behalf of a minor child."

Still a crying shame this issue wasn't resolved in the last round of negotiations.

I just went through the interview and I was impressed at the quality of interviewees. I’m 6500TT, 3000PIC and felt like I was middle of the pack. It was a good mix of RJ Captains, Military, high time corporate, with a few 787 guys from other carriers.

“Few 787 guys from other carriers”

You mean we are interviewing/hiring Norwegian Air Int pukes?

I’d say maybe like 1x better than our FLL scab.

I see no difference between a Norwegian guy and a regional guy. Neither crossed a picket line and both sold their soul for some sweet jet time. Both are here now; live with it.

Lol really? How did you get your sweet jet time? It's not like we enjoy doing the same job as mainline so some Delta captain can buy a new boat every February. Give me a break. Unless you have a good corporate gig or can get a highly competitive military slot... Guess what? Your only avenue to get "qualified" in this ponzi scheme of 121 airline hiring is to go fly at a regional.
