When did we get sued? I don’t recall any extra money being deducted from my paycheck or ALPA asking for an assessment.

It's a legitimate MEL. 10 day item. Might be hard to justify canceling a flight over it. My comment was more along the lines of I felt maybe in the past it would have been fixed sooner. Wondering if Ted's background as a numbers guy isn't pushing more fix it later mentality. it did suck flying the arrival into LAX without it.

You can’t fly an arrival without a moving map?

Yeah what the heck, who needs any of that new fangled stuff. Let's go back to the days of that all B737 operator. Put a metal tab on VNAV, deactivate the Auto Brakes, go to one FMS on the Capt. side and do FO only approaches into Burbank with stable call at 50 feet.

Uh, no. It’s a Cat C deferral, and your other 5 screens have to operational for the deferral.

I bet if you were on go home leg and the ND went out, you would be praying for a pilot deferral

Nice hysterics though

Metal tab over VNAV- now THAT would be funny...

Like when people rant without quite knowing what they’re talking about...
