Says the man who proposed antics that got us sued last time around. Reading your past posts is a master class on “Loud Mouth Pilot”
There IS a reason why you’re on the now infamous “No fly list.”

Yeah don’t interview with us, just go call up 1-800-DELTA-HR or 1-877-YO-NITED and schedule an interview.
Very quick.
Very easy.
I don’t know why more people don’t think about doing this.

“You boys have your apps in with us!? Y’all know we’re hiring?”
Oh no sh...? Thanks for the heads up man! 🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️
As for coming here. There will always be the delta bravos who are never happy. They will always be ****ed off we aren’t paid like Delta and United.
The biggest difference is, while my friend (a Bus FO) at United, makes a bit more, he has very little say in his schedule (after it’s awarded).
In July I had a lot of important commitments with friends and family. I dropped everything and had a blank canvas to do whatever I wanted. I built my own schedule in July. I didn’t miss anything the entire month that I needed to attend. You cannot put a price on this kind of flexibility until you experience it. You just cannot. It is incredible.
This conversation will ultimately lead to the arrival of a delta bravo number 2. The only telling everyone this place now sucks and is garbage after the new contract. 🙄
I left a competing LCC for Spirit. One with horrible work rules and QOL.
I know have 4 days off at a time (minimum) and can do whatever I want and need to my schedule to enjoy my personal life. For me my life is 1000% better here.

Exactly. This reminds me back when I flew the CRJ and we would have a “mainline” 64.5 year old up front with us.

Also this kind of post is exactly the type management brings in to negotiations when they either want to cut what they view as above industry standard work rules, when at full book they are not, or they want to justify lower compensation. They want both obviously.
We can have industry standard or above work rules as well as compensation. Let’s stop thinking it’s a trade. It’s a defeatist attitude.
They’ve already sent emails about the operation and our cost advantage being our competitive edge and controlling that edge. It may be true but we are only a very very small part of that. They are already shaping the narrative for the next round.

It would be interesting to know how one drops everything with a grid that is red especially in July right after initial open time is awarded. Now this might be possible if one was very very senior and could actually drop in initial and also had all the weekends off with their bid award which tend to be the days already red or turn red first. What you describe is honestly not possible for most. September, maybe, but not July.

You are making stuff up when you claim that "management brings posts like this to negotiations." Management will always try and low ball, regardless of what you perceive to be the standing views of the forums.
Stop being miserable..dont worry, Section 6 will be right around the corner and you can get back on the high horse of Scope and all things "necessary"

Get over it. The guys is happy to be here. He left another A320 carrier for us for the reasons he listed above. Stop being miserable towards the good guys we have, with good attitudes. QOL is high for this pilot group and I hate to break it to you, we already took QOL provisions over an extra buck on the hourly wage. Basically calling the guy a liar about his drops, seriously? Im sure he meant he dropped and swapped out everything to get the exact line he wanted with the days off he wanted. I do that same move and he is right, its great.

Is it the commutability
Is it the required trip mix
Is it the high min day off
Is it being able to pick your rap even if you’re the number one rsv bidder
Is it the calendar day average
It must be the 10hr 3 days
Or maybe it’s the hotel language that keeps us in only 4 or 5 star hotels even if it’s a short overnight with “walk language”. If it’s not up to par.
Maybe it’s actually having hotels and transportation booked.
Yeah we are killing it in the qol department.
There is a difference between being happy and having ones head in the sand. I’m happy but my eyes are open and know what we are worth.
