Default New Hire Policy!

I have around 7000 hrs on the a320’s but all that’s outside of the USA. With an FAA CPL Multi issued in 1998 and work authorization in the US would I be eligible for an FO position at Spirit without an ATP?
Do you guys recommend I get an ATP/CTP course along with an a320 type endorsement in US before I apply for a job?
Thanks in advance!!

If you read the posting on the spirit website. It requires an unrestricted ATP under minimum qualifications, not to mention they don’t even have an ATP/CTP program to begin with.

Maybe go to a regional, get them to pay for it and a bit of experience flying in the US?

I've gotten a couple of conditional offers from the regionals! Looks like that's the best way forward for me .
Thanks a ton for your advice

I’ve completed my ATP/CTP but when I look at the minimum qualifications for Spirit I see that it says you need an ATP. Can I still apply with just the ATP/CTP and ATP Written?

Man, all I know is that guy had 2k+ A320 hours with Avianca, interviewed, got the job offer and moved to the US a month before class started, did the ATP/CTP and got his ATP when he did his 320 type no problem.
This was last July

I love flying with Avianca, TACA and all manner of South America dudes. Those dudes are super chill and safety-oriented at the same time. Unlike some of our DTW fine stock.
