3 months of that during training minimum I would think. God d**n. In the long run is good money but that kind of salary leaves a lot of players out of the race. Looks like they want to test you ability to live off of savings, a relative or credit cards.
in most places you can’t even rent a crap hole for a $1,000 bucks a month, 🤦♂️, my bad a $1,000 before taxes...

Of course... With that training pay ramen works well from that microwave

When I went through 3 years ago the hotel had a microwave and a mini fridge. I bought a small crockpot, a George Foreman grill and a breakfast sandwich maker. You can get pretty creative with those appliances but I’m glad it’s over. It was difficult, 1st year pay with training pay sucked. I’m glad I came here and don’t regret it one bit.

If they’re still using the Sheraton Plantation, there are several places within walking distance to eat. There are also grocery stores and a Walgreens. And the shuttle will take you within like three miles. However, the part about not being able to cook is correct. Only a microwave and a mini fridge.

I had a bunch of vacation and sick time accrued at my previous regional, and used that payout to cover my training/first year pay gap. It’s not that bad if you plan ahead.
Theres a Publix within walking distance, and if you don’t have them clean your room everyday they’ll give you a $5 credit. You can stack them and after a while you’ll never pay for a meal at the bar/restaurant.
