Clearly time-wise a tornado is much less disruptive than days of anticipation from a hurricane. Tornados are also much more localized in nature. But after a big tornado moved through BNA last night it’s kind of hard to justify the move purely due to wx concerns. Seems like DTW would’ve been a better choice.

Hurricanes are a certainty tornados are pretty random and not as common in the East as in tornado alley. Hurricanes disrupt everything including your employees ability to get to work, both during after and while they prep. Don’t think this changes the logic. Also you have to go somewhere that costs are reasonable and employees are willing to live. Lots of other factors beyond wx.

DTW though is almost never crippled by weather and I’m sure office space would be cheap. Question is can you get a solid workforce that wants to be there and grow with you. I don’t know.
Either way BNA it is just ironic considering last nights storm.
