i’m curious what is everyone seeing for pax no shows? 5-10 is normal, but are we seeing 30+ per flight now? I haven’t been to work in a week, thats why I’m asking.

Eight legs on my last trip. The only leg that wasn’t full was a redeye to PTY. The return was full.

Filling the seats is only part of the equation. Another part is what is the ticket price? Check out spirit.com for flights in April

I give it until Monday tops before the mouse house gets shutdown. It's inevitable at this point.

JP Morgan meeting today they said it isn't so much loads as loads aren't too bad. It's the fares we are selling the seats in this budding price war that are killing yield. If that remains the case we should all feel confident of our employer's position.

This makes me wonder, United is cutting domestic capacity by 10%. Is that an actual decrease in capacity or a slowing in their projected growth? We at Spirit are technically still growing in April (9% vs. 14% originally planned). Is it a cut, yes. Is it a true reduction in capacity, no. What’re others doing? Cutting or slowing growth?

I dunno...i suppose they could move larger aircraft onto somes routes to limit capacity cuts while reducing frequency. The fact United and others have ceased hiring and are asking for unpaid leaves seems to indicate growth went out the window. For us, you're correct. Sounds like most of the 319s are getting an extended break from the working life.
