Default Aircraft Cleaning/Disinfecting

I’m a commuter and have been on pretty much everyone except DL since all of the events du jour have been unfolding. I have to say, I’ve never seen interiors so clean. This is presumably from their organizational attempts to delay the human apocalypse in conjunction with lower loads (albeit most of my flights commuting, operating, and DH have been have been relatively full).

Just finished a pairing and have to say that our airplanes are (still) filthy. Even though the company said they’re stepping up cleaning, I don’t really recall any news about disinfecting, it seems like our cabins are just not clean, let alone disinfected, especially in recent comparison to OAL.

Has anyone seen anything different or heard what the FAs think of this? Wonder if AFA is going to step in.

Our cleaning has been extremely inadequate forever and as far as I know nothing has changed. I have always wiped down as many touch points as I can in the cockpit and when o DH.

We have a dirty plane email to send to about a plane that isn’t clean. Either people haven’t been using it or the recipient doesn’t care.

honestly, it’s telling that we have to have it. It just means tell us when it gets so bad you have to say something bc we don’t have a normal procedure to ensure it’s done right

I saw a bunch of passengers wiping down their areas. So they are more clean than ever before.

Default Aircraft Sanitization / Cleaning NOT

No one wants to discuss it because it simply is not happening!
The talk and promises of Safety first is hogwash, boardroom talk to appear that all is well . Flight crews are at high risk as companies attempt to keep whatever sliver of business they can maintain , simply put , the actions speak louder than words. My company has not been sanitizing cockpits or the associated revenue / containers being loaded on the various aircraft and no one wants to comment on it for fear of retribution...........

Yeah, we keep getting all these lying emails about enhanced cleaning of the aircraft and extra sanitizing equipment in the plane and gates... go ask a FA for a wipe they show you a meager bag with barely 10 of them.
aircraft cleaning? Is the same 2 or 3 guys doing the same 4 minute paper pick up

Most of our planes seem to fly for 3 days straight before getting to a point where there is an overnight down time for required maintenance, so I don’t see how we are getting extra cleaning done.

we don’t get to fly to the normal south of the border places, where the best cleaning get done by the Central American, South American cleaning crews. So I’d wager that the planes aren’t getting any cleaner.
