I had the opportunity to do a phone screen and it seemed to have gone very well. We set up tentative dates and times during the phone screen for an actual interview (later this month). I received an automatic email saying it was a pleasure getting to know me and learning about my background and interests but I have not been selected. Is this what people have been getting after not being chosen after a phone screen? It sounds like I got the TBNT email normally sent out after an unsuccessful interview.

For the folks that recently did a phone screen, did you receive any sort of email prior to the phone screen? And were their any iForms you had to complete after the phone screen?

I got the email inviting me to a phone screen and the link for scheduling it. Just completed it yesterday, super easy. Reviews times, failures, and the why Spirit ? Got invited to an in person on the 8/5 or 8/19. Couldn’t make either day work so they said they would get back to me with other dates. Good luck!

Maybe “good luck” to you on getting another in person interview date(s)

Did you get married on the 5th and having a child on the 19th?

I told them I would get back to them on the 19th date and they said they would send additional dates in the next couples days. Needed to buy some time to make it work. Fully plan on being there on the 19. Kinda hard to get out of a 6 day trip on a moments notice.

Drop it. If you cannot, you pay someone to take it off your hands. At my previous airline it was very common for people to advertise trips for pickup and attach a financial incentive for the person that takes it.

Totally impractical when the company is short staffed and offering open time at 200%. You gonna pay someone the $3000 it would take on top of losing $3000 for your trip just to get a week off? That's if you can find anyone at any price. I mean maybe for Delta but this is a Spirit interview we're talking about...
