Congrats on those getting called in to interview! I’ve had my app in for about 5 months as I was waiting to get back to flying after my last 121 carrier shut down. Do internal recs trigger an interview & what is the ballpark minimums for those getting called? Live a few minutes from MCO if anyone else here does PM me.

It’s funny that you think we have a “system” that scores your app. I can almost guarantee we have one or two human beings that are looking at apps and resumes by hand.

You completely over estimate Spirit IT ability

Yes. You can’t win if you don’t play.

People have been hired with less than stated mins but usually have a unique resume or an ‘in’.

I had a phone interview earlier this week and was asked about my current flight time which had obviously changed from the time I had originally submitted the app. She said she would be emailing me a link to update my times on the app. After I updated it, I got an email the next day to schedule an in-person interview. Hopefully it's a good sign for you too!

Rumor is if you had any failure in 5 years you just aren’t good enough to work at spirit. Several people have said this and the application I recently submitted did ask if anything had been within 5 years.
Seems a tad on the extreme side especially if your hiccup was minor.
