It might go without saying but you can bid reserve so that you don’t have a 6 day block. You also get minimums 4 days off between work blocks. That can be waived too.

I’m very excited to have a class date coming up later this summer. I’ll be commuting from a centrally located East coast city. I’m aware of the junior bases, but does anyone have suggestions for a commuter wanting the quickest path to a line?
