I’m very excited to have a class date coming up later this summer. I’ll be commuting from a centrally located East coast city. I’m aware of the junior bases, but does anyone have suggestions for a commuter wanting the quickest path to a line?
Thanks in advance |

I understand that generally reserve blocks are of 6 days… but can anyone tell how much do you really typically work in those 6 days? Is it common to get a trip assigned on the first day that ends on the sixth day? How often do you get called in to work when on reserve? If based on FLL

As a reserve FO you’ll be used almost every single day on reserve. Rarely have I gotten more than 13 days off/mo. While it may not be a full 6 day trip, it could be two 3 day trips, and so on.
