Definitely not a troll, just having a hard time explaining to my wife why taking a pay cut and commuting are actually good things for us. I am looking for the more specific reasons why spirit will be a better fit for me.

Is the rest of your life going to exactly replicate the last 30 days? If so and you’re happy with the last 30, stay where you are.

If there is any chance advancement, pay changes, company solvency, disability, need/desire to relocate, base closure or any other factor might ever surface, analyze whether you’d rather be where you are or someplace else bigger, with better employee protections, and that sells its own tickets.

Most people who look beyond the next month have already answered this ad nauseum. The rest either have not, or are special cases (like looking only at a few years, are indebted to or have other ties to a current employer). Do the math…

You’d be shocked how fast United and Delta will hire you once you get type rated at Spirit, JB, etal. Its a gamble but its been working for kids.

If you get a legacy class date during training at spirit, don’t mention it to your instructors.
