there isn’t any official union or company published data on this so any answer you will get will be anecdotal

I know of double digit NK FOs that have interviews at big 3/fedex/ups for whatever it's worth.

Do you think this looming pilot shortage will have any impact on Spirit? Are many pilots waiting for a call from the Big 3 or Cargo?

Typically our attrition is pretty low. I think barely in the double digits every year. I just said TBNT to one of the big 3 for what it's worth. I've decided to call this place home. Not commuting anymore and the QOL here makes me not want to go anywhere else.

Will the hiring from the big 3 effect us? Absolutely but more so from a new hire perspective rather than an attrition one.
