He got us thru Covid, let’s give him that. But when I’m on hold with dispatch forever I want to poke my eyes out listening to him sing. I assume Ted comes to the office maybe once a week these days…

Pretty sure it was the US taxpayer who got us through COVID

Government bailouts got us and the industry through covid, let’s not get it twisted and act like Ted did anything but agree to pay pilots 50 hours a month vs furlough, as he thought we would be the “first to profitability” and he would need the pilots on property.

But honestly, what has he done? Multiple meltdown still, mass displacement bid because the company has not done a base staffing assessment under his watch, last to profitability (still not profitable), performance and customer service scores down from when he took over, etc.

Flica is still a disaster
Phone tree is horrible
Made an fool out of himself with the merger

He has truly done nothing to take what Fornaro accomplished in a few years and expand on it, he took everything Fornaro did and managed to unravel it in record time. Maybe we can get lucky and dump him before he bankrupts us like he did at his previous airline years ago.

I hate saying this, but you are not wrong.

One trick ponies. Not sure why if someone bankrupts an airline or takes a labor group to a strike that anything would be expected from them at future jobs. Thing is whenever their Noncompetes expire they will get hired and do it again somewhere else.

Funny part is if a pilot crashed 2 planes, he would probably have a hard time getting another job flying 121. Yet management...

DUI Doug could never be hired as a ramper at AA, and yet he was the CEO of the largest airline…. Different rules for them.

To all the Spirit pilots that brag about not wearing a pilot hat:

How much is not wearing a hat costing you and your family?
