No offense to the low time people getting hired, I would have loved to be flying an Airbus with less than 2000hrs.
Just like they did in 2017

what a condescending and unwelcoming comment, great way to treat a new hire.

I look forward to seeing a post from you one day that isn’t some kind of needless negativity, Cinco

lol, come on I thought it was funny. But seriously, you will have 100 hour CAs paired with FOs right out of OE who were teaching in Cessnas not more than 3 months earlier. That will go well on that park visual into LGA on a windy day.

Paying more wouldn’t keep FO’s around. Until Spirit has wide bodies with “cool” layovers, gets rid of the ULCC stank, and yes pay is on par too, Spirit will keep loosing pilots to the big boys.

Treat our employees with respect on day 1 by paying them a normal wage with health benefits and pay more than legacies with a provision that will always pay 10% more than a blended average of 320 aircraft at legacies and a bulk of the attrition will stop almost immediately. The bleeding can be stopped with an LOA. The ball is in their court.

Idk. Even Southwest I hear is having lots of attrition. And apparently those guys make a butt load of money and they work for a “cool” company that takes cares of employees.

Don’t believe...me head on over to the Southwest section and they have an attrition thread going.

Remember, all the majors took concessions to remain competitive to SWA wages back in the day. Nothing cool there.

Don't worry, beneath that cynical, curmudgeonly exterior, I bet Cinco is a nuturing captain who welcomes the opportunity to take the new guys under his wing and mentor them.
