What are the most consecutive days you could get in a single trip, regardless of seniority? Are 4-5 day trips possible for sake of commuting?

The credit for the trip dropped would be removed from your compensation. If it were a 1 hour trip, your monthly credit would be reduced by one hour. If it were a hundred hour trip, your credit would be reduced by a hundred hours. It's not rocket surgery.

There's no such thing as a 5 day trip. You can put flying into 6 consecutive days according to 117. Read up on what's possible under 117.

Are 4-day trips common at Spirit? Is there a commuter policy? Commuter hotels?

Our contract is more restrictive than 117, we can't reset the 30 hour clock on a layover, so have to get back to base after 6 days.

Is the 30 hour layover common at NK?

No, but you should be reading the CBA. It is way more restrictive than 117. (and yes. Of course 117 applies too)
