OK shifting gears here. It will be interesting to see where the new Spirit/Frontier headquarters is.
obviously Spirit Airlines has broke ground on its headquarters/training facility in FLL. And I believe TC even said they will continue to build that headquarters despite the merger.
there has also been some local support from business leaders in South Florida to keep the headquarters here.

however, Bill Frankie, and frontier will have majority vote. And maybe the city of Denver will give them an incentive to expand a headquarters in Denver. (Article below)

Or maybe this is Bill Frankie‘s retirement plan like all AARP members...to end up in south Florida...

F9er here. Bill Frankie and Indigo headquarters are already in the 2nd wheelchair capital of the world - Phoenix. It’s obvious that F9 has started becoming a very Florida centric airline and NK already was. My guess would be that the construction of the headquarters will continue as planned and it will ultimately become the headquarters of the combined airline. I’d be glad to see it too. I’m not a big fan of Denver.

Tax incentives, geographic advantage, or even access to shuffleboard courts could all be a factor, however…
At the end of the day it’s office space on land that’s worth more today than it was purchased. It will be worth even more after it’s developed.
Worst case scenario, it’s deemed unnecessary post merger, and the whole thing is sold for a tidy profit. I don’t think it’s worth reading into too much.

This right here. NK is FL #1 airline in terms of flights per day/pax carried to the state. The combined airline will have a huge margin over whoever is #2 (maybe WN/JB 🤷🏻♂️).
