they truly accept people from 135. They hired folks from 135 in 2017/2018

Fast forward to 2022 - now they hire cfis from ATP flight school and regional pilots with 1700
hours.

if you truly want to be here don’t be marketable to a legacy, be able to pass 5 sims, and be able to fog a mirror.

Has anyone thats been at either company (Spirit/frontier) start off as a 135 pilot? or are most people from the regionals?

I spent over a decade flying fractionals before Spirit, and 4+ years at a 135 freight operation before that. They haven’t chased me off the property yet.

just leave that to Bill Frankie...He’ll chase half the pilots off.

That is becoming obvious.

Thought I was going 121 but then 2008 happened. Flew 91/135 for 10 years. Now at Spirit. 91/135 was 20x more fun than airline flying but I'm very happy I'm here now. I don't wish I came here sooner though.

Looking back I tried to do the 135 thing instead of the regionals. Pilots who started at my old regional the same time I started the 135 job in 2014 have all flowed to American and have already been there 2 years. Just saying, I wish I went 121 from the start. I maybe only had 200 hrs in those 2 years. Plus the sign on bonuses are insane at the regionals.

"a merger of two of the most low-ranking airlines..." Uhh, I mean it's not great but there are many others in the category of "most low-ranking".

Think there might be some United bias from a Colorado AG?

Airlines owe you a refund when they cancel a flight. So why is United balking during coronavirus crisis?

So, what do you get when UAL buys Hawaiian?

A turd wearing a lei....

F9 isn't about customer service - it's about $ and not $$$$. NK's been around long enough that their customers have low expectations. F9's customers still think they're the old Frontier, not a ULCC.
