But wait there's more, I'd say it's April Fools but really just another day at Spirit. Now they are rerunning the bids again because they took the extra time to make sure it was right....and it wasn't.....

It’s almost like we’ve (F9) already merged.

Could you please try and be more dramatic next time? It's less than 30 pilots.

Why even bother flying airplanes when you could make way more money writing dramatic headlines for major news networks?

Not sure what you're getting at, to be honest. Obviously it is. Out of nearly 3,000 pilots there was an error of less than 30.

I guess we're also going to dismiss the fact that ALPA had to verify the original list, to ensure its accuracy, before it was published. But hey, that isn't as dramatic, is it?

But if the error is for 30-40 pilots, that error could change the bid for hundreds of pilots. That’s what I’m getting at.

The fact that this stuff has to be manually computed and reviewed is sort of mind blowing. I guess that's what happens when you use a SABRE suite from the 80s.

There is a job posting for the DFW Chief Pilot. With an answer like that you need to be in management! There is no reason this should not be 100% correct. 3, 30, 300 does not matter; there are a few hundred pilots that are having their lives changed "dramatically," and a few pilots can make a big difference in the whole system bid. So, perhaps you could save your apologetic thoughts about the company's shortcomings for the subpar JCBA that they will try to push through.

the outgoing DFW chief pilot wouldn’t answer like that though. He actually cared from the pilot perspective instead of the management perspective from all of the times I’ve had interaction with him.

100%!! He was the man, best Chief pilot we ever had. And certainly didn’t have the Stockholm Syndrome so many of our pilot have here.
