It’s very obvious now that Spirit did NO negotiating when it first agreed to merge with Frontier. The only thing important to Ted was Ted. He and the board accepted whatever Franke told them to accept as long as they were covered in the deal. Employees and shareholders be damned. There is dirty business and then there is pure corruption. This is the latter. They have a fiduciary responsibility that they seemed to forget about.
Im fine with the price going up and up as a shareholder but I can understand the angst as a Spirit employee.

This thread started with something along the lines of “Spirit didn’t due their fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders by creating a bidding war and driving up the price!” Now that’s exactly what is happening and I see, “Spirit isn’t following their fiduciary responsibilities by accepting the JetBlue offer!”

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I could care less either way this turns out but all your emotional posts suggest other wise. I’m completely happy on the boat I’m on, wether we build a bigger one or just stay the course with a doubling fleet in the next 7 years.
